Cava Group and Clumio, a Commvault Company

Cava found success with Clumio, backing up hundreds of terabytes of vital data for the company in a scalable way.

CAVA is a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant. We are running most of, mostly all of our workloads in AWS. AWS we use it as infrastructure, as a service, as a platform, as a service, and software as a service. All type of cloud solutions come there.

So with our solutions, we definitely need a good backup solution. I was looking for cost-effective, secure, scalable, and air-gapped backup solutions. Turns out that Clumio met my requirements. So we deployed Clumio across all our AWS accounts. Now we are backing up hundreds of terabytes of data, and this is restaurants, data reporting, and other vital data for the company, for any part of the company that requires, you know, to do their reports, how the sales are going, et cetera, et cetera.

Backups do not typically affect our customers, and that’s how it should be. When you think about it, as long as everything is backed up and quiet, and it’s, they are not being affected, and for example, Clumio does not consume any resources, it does not affect our infrastructure. Call it yet, it is scalable for us, and it’ll grow as much as we need it to. As much as our data grows, Clumio will serve that purpose.
